I’ve also asked this question corportately:  What would we do as a Church if we only had one month to exist?  My response to that question is:  As your lead Pastor I would do three things.  First, I would concentrate every available resource of time, finances and people, to reach everybody we could with the life changing message of life in Jesus Christ.  I would cancel everything that did not achieve that purpose, and release everyone and everything that did.  I would open the church every day for services specifically aimed at reaching people who do not yet know Jesus.  I would urge and encourage our congregation to bring everyone they know who does not yet know Jesus.  Second, I would equip believers in the basic spiritual practices (disciplines) necessary for sustained, ongoing spiritual growth.  Third, I work to perpetuate the purpose of the church beyond the institution of the church by concentrated instruction in how to “be” the church in our home and community, rather than just “go” to church.

In other words, I would want us to do one thing (Matthew 28:19-20), and take it to its zenith!
